Africa by Horse Ambassador

Kajsa Björe

"I traveled on an African Explorer at the end of February 2026, and it is an understatement to say that it was magical! The journey was packed with experiences without feeling stressful. Breathtaking nature, wild animals in all their forms, cool accommodations, and good food & drink. The horses were very wise and nice to ride, and the guides, volunteers & other staff all contributed to a lovely atmosphere.

The experience felt well-organized, safe, and well thought out. Liza had a good handle on all practical matters both before and during the trip. I am so glad I took this trip; I have memories to last a lifetime!"

We collaborate with

The new marketplace for equestrian sports

For decades, horse listings have all looked the same: one picture, one price – and the rest you have to guess. The Floccs team felt it was time for something new, and here each horse gets its own digital hoofprint. A profile that tells the story behind the horse – and helps the right buyer find the right horse. Here, you can buy horses, equipment and services in a smarter and more personal way.

Behind Floccs are women who have spent their whole lives in the stables and are now building something the horse world has been missing: a safe, transparent and modern platform created by horse girls for horse people and their horses.

We support

Voice of a Donkey

In many parts of Zimbabwe, donkeys live under difficult conditions. They are absolutely essential as working and transport animals but rarely receive the care they need. Overworked, undernourished, and poorly tended, they often fall ill – not out of neglect or unwillingness, but due to a lack of knowledge among their owners and limited access to resources.

Voice of a Donkey works to change that. The organisation helps people in rural areas care for their donkeys through education, basic veterinary support, and practical assistance. They teach proper hoof care, how to treat wounds, balance teeth, and provide adequate nutrition – all to improve both animal welfare and people’s livelihoods.

Behind the initiative are Kate White-Spunner and Will Venter. Kate worked for 15 years as a donkey welfare advisor with the Irish Donkey Sanctuary before returning home to Zimbabwe to found Voice of a Donkey. She is passionate about education and about helping people understand the value of animals. Will is a farrier, equine dentist, and riding instructor – with a particular love for donkeys, which he describes as the most patient and trusting animals one can work with.

During our travels in Africa, we’ve had the privilege of meeting Will and Kate, and we know that the work they do for donkeys is truly invaluable. We support Voice of a Donkey through donations and by sharing their important mission. Here’s how you can help:
